Procedures for when moving house(이사했을 때의 수속)

Non-Japanese residents living in Japan must register at a ward office. This is called resident registration. All medium and long term non-Japanese residents (i.e. those with a resident card) need to submit notification of their resident registration to the family registry division of the ward office of the ward in which they currently reside.Once you have submitted notification of your resident registration, the ward office will create a resident certificate containing such information as your address, name, date of birth, residency details, etc.
